Serena Williams wins 22 Grand Slams

Serena Williams scripts history at Wimbledon today when she outlasts Angelique Kerber in the finals of Wimbledon 2016.

She wins her 22 grand slam, and now stands equal to Steffi Graff with 22 grand slam titles. Kerber was simply no match to Serena. And at 35 years of age Serena still has enough to defeat her much younger opponent, who was always looking clueless to some of the shots that Serena was exhibiting at the Centre Court. (more…)

Nadal crashes out of Wimbledon 2015

Rafael Nadal was thoroughly outplayed by a German qualifier in the second round of the Wimbledon this year.


The serve and Volley game exhibited by Dustin Brown put paid to Nadal’s dream to advance further in the tournament. Nadal’s dream of winning 15 Grand Slam titles has to wait.

Nadal’s fear of losing his confidence in the recent past has come true. Before coming on to this tournament he has stated that he is now feeling nervous before matches. And to make matters worse, Nadal has lost before quarter finals on 4 occasions in the last 4 Wimbledon. Dustin Brown’s serve and volley game has been tormenting Nadal right from the start.
