Club authorities recall how the club has prepared for the Saturday night special Latin Flavour. There were around 300 patrons on the fateful night and more than 50 have died with 50 more injured. The party went on way into Sunday Morning when it all began.

The bar was full of dancers and as soon as Omar Mateen began firing, there was panic. People witnessed their friends being shot down in front of their own eyes. One among them was Christopher Hansen – he is still in complete shock and recalls how the bodies were going down in front of him.

The gunshots which began went on for too long. Guests were trying to move towards the back of the club, but Omar Mateen blocked the door. Some managed to escape, others were not that lucky. Mateen was shooting at those who were lying down. He was saying ‘Stay inside Stay inside’. And he got closer to the guests before shooting them down.
